Mitchell 1260 "Lumitone" Radio-Lamp (1941)
(Bakelite tube novelty radio)

Mitchell 1260 "Lumitone" Radio-Lamp (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great novelty straight from the inception of the space age. The Bakelite body resembles a rocket ship. The radio is completely restored and plays loud and clear, my guarantee applies. The new enamel paint job is exactly as it was offered from the factory with ivory body and gold base "fins." The lamp shade is new of course, but it does resemble the original as it was a square shape. The shade is universal harpless, it fits on the socket. (see photo) 24"H with shade; shade is 13" square at the bottom. About 15 pounds packed in two boxes.
