THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a very cute little Bakelite deco/streamline set, sort of caught between two eras. It is quite small, only 8"W x 6"H x 5"D, but has a full five-tube compliment. It is a permeability tuned set; in other words it uses no variable capacitor as most radios do but has a pair of tuned coils with movable cores. The radio has been fully restored and plays loud and clear, my guarantee applies. It has a new canary yellow paint job with a clear coating. The knobs are original unpainted Bakelite. The metal back isn't there but if you want for an additional $15 I will make a clear acrylic custom back for it. About 9 pounds packed. There is a very tiny crack in the dial lens at the five o'clock position, not noticeable at all. |
