THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a typical depression era set. The company most likely went under just after it started. The radio however is a very good set, and it plays loud and clear even with just the antenna wire provided. I have replaced all capacitors, line cord and grille cloth. Replaced tubes and resistors as needed. Cabinet refinished in lacquer. Model number unknown, I am guessing at the vintage because it is a TRF type and the latest tube (47) was introduced in June of 1931. An unknown company would not typically use a tube that was just introduced, they probably had to wait a couple years. 13-1/2"H x 10"W x 8"D, about 15 pounds packed. |
