THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a beautiful high end set from the height of the Great Depression. Although most people at that time were quite poor, the rich were still rich. There was no shortage of expensive toys and this is a fine example. On the front you can see four strips of multicolored veneer inlay. The cabinet has scalloped trim on all sides. It is a real beauty. The photos don't do it justice. my camera is quite old and doesn't do that good. The radio has been totally restored in and out. It plays loud and clear on BC and even gets SW stations. My guarantee applies. All new caps; new tubes and resistors where needed, etc. New grille cloth, new cord and Bakelite plug, new acrylic lens, original wood knobs. The cabinet has been refinished with lacquer. About 28 lbs packed. 15"H x 13"W x 8"D. |
