THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a very popular novelty that sold like hotcakes right after the war. Some say they were given as premiums by Westinghouse to their refrigerator customers, but there is no real evidence to that. This radio plays loud and clear and my guarantee applies. The "W" logo glows and dial lights when its on. The sides are Bakelite with new ivory paint and the middle is solid brass, polished to a high luster and preserved with Mohawk "lacquer for brass." All new caps, (I restuffed the filter with new electrolytics), new cord, grille cloth etc. 14 pounds packed. 9"H x 6"W x 6"D. |
