Belmont 6D111 "Rabbit" (1946)

Belmont 6D111 "Rabbit" (1946)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!
This gorgeous model is dubbed "the rabbit" by collectors. Use your imagination, and see a rabbit with the tuning knob as its button nose and its ears folded back. This is a very collectible radio made just after World War II, when America went from war production back to consumer production. There wasn't time to redesign and make new molds in order to get product to the market so they used a popular "Art Deco" style from the late 30s. This radio plays loud and clear even without an external antenna. Completely restored and my guarantee applies. It has a new ivory paint job to match the original ivory Plaskon knobs and pushbuttons.
