Philco 48-460 (1948)
(plastic tube table radio)

Philco 48-460 (1948)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Here is a great postwar relic endearingly called the "Hippo" by collectors, I guess because if its hippo like smile of a dial... This radio has been professionally restored completely including all new capacitors, resistors and tubes out of tolerance and a complete alignment as I do for all my restored sets. It plays loud and clear and my guarantee applies. Two tone enamel paint job is a nice accent for this period set. It sort of resembles a saddle shoe! 10 pounds packed. 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
