THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The tag says 52/52A, but according to Ron Ramirez's book I think it is a C model. This is a very hard to find flat top radio from this model year. Most radios at the time were cathedrals or floor models. It looks similar to the 80JR model C but has five tubes instead of four and three controls instead of two. This radio plays loud and clear. All filters are new fresh and many of the couplers were replaced in an earlier restoration. The cabinet is as I received it; I don't know if it has ever been resurfaced or not. The original beautiful border inlay is present. Original Bakelite rosette knobs, new cloth cord. My guarantee applies. Shipping weight 26 pounds. |
