THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Actually manufactured in late 1941 before Philco "went to war." This is a beautiful Bakelite deco design, an early "Transitone" so named because they were lightweight and easy to transport. It has six tubes, a little more selective than the average "AA5" set. The original back has a small repair. The knobs are not original but are NOS Plaskon knobs. The metallic blue paint job is new. This radio as all my others has been fully restored electronically and my guarantee applies. About 9 pounds. |
