| This is one of the cleanest Philco "Hippo" radios I have ever worked on. So many good points on this radio it is hard to list them all. The entire case has a brown marbling to it that I tried to capture with the pictures. No cracks or chips, just a fine scratch here and there. Original capacitor casings have been used to keep aged look inside and out. The Plastic dial is "smoke" free with all number coloring intact. Chassis is hand polished to a shine and looks untouched. All wiring is in great shape including original plastic coated wire. Highly sensitive and a clear-as-day sound. Perfect for the collector who just wants a Hippo without problems.
