This restored Silvertone is pretty unique and rare. Solid Walnut case with thumb controls on top of the upside down chassis. It was manufactured by Continental Radio Corp with five tubes and a 4" electrodynamic speaker. Broadcast band only using tuning slugs instead of a tuning condenser. This was a design to save space and make a smaller radio which this is. Reception is great with selectivity being very sensitive due to this design and has a little noise between stations which is common with this design. Very unique and attractive radio with original speaker cloth and lit dial. The dial plate has an imperfection due to the lamp, but is still very good.
