Here is a nice restored example of a Deco Bakelite radio by Bendix Aviation Corp. It was originally Ivory White and I painted a nice lite brown on the contoured top and side to give it more appeal. The case is encased on all sides to show the real Deco design and the chassis is removed from the bottom. Has the original lit dial and butterscotch colored knobs. Five tubes with a loop antenna allow great reception and selectivity. Also has a slot hand hold on the top which also allows for heat dissipation. Very clever.
