| This is a restored walnut cased "Wedge" Philco. It's really an outstanding example of this model with its beautiful wood shine contrasting with the light colored wood pedestal. This version of the model has a brown checkered front grille with the WEDGE and raised lettering "PHILCO TRANSITONE." The dial, glass, and pointer are flawless as are the original knobs and backing plate. It definitely has a very nice tone to it and I feel it's due to the speaker and the wood case, not necessarily the circuitry. Dial is very attractive when lit.
