Zenith 6-S-222 "Cube" (1936)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Zenith 6-S-222 "Cube" (1936)

NEW!Nobody made better radios in the mid to late 1930's than Zenith Radio. The set before you is a perfect example of the earned reputation. The radio is a solid six-tube super-het chassis playing on both AM and Shortwave bands. The oversized 6-1/2" "black dial" which lights at night with a pair of lamps only furthered their fame. The radio is has been beautifully and is in very nice finish condition. I made one small repair to the top right side, so be sure to inspect the photo #5 to see it. The radio sounds great with a full range speaker radiating the sound out of the top. The speaker cloth also original and very clean. Note the classic and original with iconic "Z" wood knobs. This radio is a standout. My professional tech has done a perfect repair and has the radio to a "like new" condition. Since these are solid players with the speaker spreading the sound from the top of the cabinet, he added a mini-jack at no additional cost. This will allow you an unlimited source of content. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! You will be amazed at the sound quality. 14"W x 11-1/2"H x 11"D.  $895.00. (0961795)

We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
