This Charlotte, Michigan factory never made plain Jane looking radio. They really styled up their production into rather unique looking radios. They also made some fine radios as well. This particular model is a five-tube, sophisticated super-het offering both AM and shortwave. Note the dramatic oversized dial and how they made it a bright display. I bought this radio from a collector who did a fine job in refinishing the cabinet and replacing the speaker cloth with period correct replacement. My technician has done a complete restoration of the chassis and the radio performs in a fine manner. His work included adding a mini-jack for your ability to connect it to any modern type of device. AM/FM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 14-1/8"W x 8"H x 6-1/4"D. |
