The radio sports a dramatically lit oversized dial. In a darkened room, the bright multi-color and detailed dial is a stand out. The speaker vents the sound from the right side of the cabinet and with a full range 6-inch cone the sound is very good. The cabinet has been refinished in a very dramatic high gloss Sherwin Williams and has a dramatic look, with replacement speaker cloth and carved wood knobs. My technician has completed his professional repairs and the set plays as new.
