Skyrover 777 (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Skyrover 777 (1935)

Skyrover was a trade name by a company called Warwick Mfg of Rhode Island. The cabinet is way Deco with a stunning motif for the grille. The radio sports a brightly lit port hole dial of the era and the radio was intended a triple band model which still offers both AM and shortwave. The radio has been refinished by a previous collector, showing the slightest distress of the shrinkage of the wood for the 85+ years. The speaker cloth is an accurate reproduction and the radio has Bakelite knobs in a rose petal form. The radio is a seven-tube super-het chassis, which made it a superior radio of the era and it has been professionally restored by my tech. The radio sings offering a full range tone control to allow your adjustment to content type and taste. The radio has a fine cloth cover power cord and Bakelite plug for your everyday use and safety. My tech added a mini-jack, allowing you to connect the radio to any modern device. AM transmitter and Bluetooth options are available starting at $25! Click here for details! 16-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W x 12"D.  $595.00. (0961754)

We proudly announce a terrific additional item to our shop!  This is a low battery power full FCC compliant am transmitter!  It will work with all of your radios and the ones purchased here.  In addition, it is also a Bluetooth device and digital fm receiver.  Now you can finally listen to FM through your entire radio collection!  THESE ARE ONLY AVAILABLE WITH A PURCHASE OF ONE OF OUR RADIOS FOR ONLY $99.99!  Giving these innovated products a complete test both I and my tech give the device two thumbs UP!

All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
