Here is a nearly pristine and stunning example of this cherished cathedral radio. It is quite a radio, with a tone control and a seven tube early super-het chassis. The radio is a standout sporting a dramatic repwood grille. You can see how detailed this grille is and offers an almost church like in the detail. The cabinet, replacement speaker cloth and knobs are all factory original. The only sign of age is a bit of warping to the exquisite grill. These grills were cast from rubber and wood 90 years ago. This example shows a bit of warping to the grille, but the imperfection is very difficult to see. My technician has given this set a highly professional repair. His work included a fine reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug as the set would had from the factory. His worked included a mini-jack for your attachment of you modern electronic device.
