I am extremely fond of most RCA products as they offer very advanced electronics and super reliable service. This less common model is an example of my thoughts offering macro/micro tuning with concentric controls and multiple stepped tone control. The radio is a full range broadcast/shortwave radio with terrific performance characteristics. The radio is an eight-tube model, super-het chassis which was the best technology of the time. The radio has been dramatically refinished by a prior owner and the work is spectacular. The speaker cloth is a perfect reproduction and knobs are the factory installed ones from 80+ years ago. I noted a faint marking on the dial from age, which after 80+years is not uncommon. There are no reproductions available. My technician has done a complete repair and the radio plays like new. His professional repairs include a mini-jack to allow you to connect the radio to any modern device. Bluetooth is available for only $25.00 additional! 21-1/2"H x 16"W x 10-1/2"D.
