THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a rather edgy and scarce model from the Los Angeles maker in the 1930's. The west coast was rich with a number of local factories whose entire distribution, with a couple of exceptions, was regional only. This is a futuristic "bullet" shaped model and porthole shaped dial. The radio is a five-tube super-het chassis and it offers both AM and shortwave. I believe the cabinet is original and showing a minimal degree of shrinkage from the age isolated on the top so be sure to look at my picture #5. The speaker cloth looks to be old, and may be original...maybe not. My tech has updated the electronics and returned the radio's performance to a like new profile. His work included adding a mini-jack so you can connect it to any modern device. You will enjoy the listening to this radio! Bluetooth is available for only $25 additional! 15-1/2"W x 8-1/4"H x 7-1/4"D. |
