Maytone Tombstone (by Wells-Gardner, 1936)
Maytone Tombstone (by Wells-Gardner, 1936)
NEW!I know the name on this radio might not be familiar, but the factory that produced it was one of the best factories of the era. Either the name "Maytone" was a "house brand" or a limited distribution model. Wells-Gardner used the exact same cabinet and chassis for export as well, with the domestic models for our 105-115 volt systems. The radio is a very fine seven-tube super-het offering both am and shortwave. The dramatically lit dial makes the appearance ever more attractive and the American Walnut crafted cabinet is of the finest quality. The cabinet has been refinished with period correct reproduction speaker cloth and the factory installed knobs. This was a radio that the factory was proud to produce! The electronics have been professionally repaired and updated by my tech, and the set being a higher tube count is a terrific player. This is a full sized radio sure to please! Bluetooth is available for $25! 17-1/2"H x 15-1/4"W x 11"D.  $395.00. (0961605)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
