Silvertone 1807A Tombstone (1935)

Silvertone 1807A Tombstone (1935)
NEW!You are looking at a terrific radio. Made for Sears by Colonial Radio Corp, this was the top of the line model in their 1935 assortment. The radio is a highly decorative study in craftsmanship with finely laid beading and multiple and exotic use of veneers. The radio cabinet has been refinished in the past with period correct replacement speaker cloth. The knobs, which were classically carved from wood, are factory originals. The radio reflects the aging of an 85 year old unit. Contained inside is a seven-tube super-het chassis offering both AM and shortwave reception. The radio being such a fine unit offers a full range tone control making the listening all the more enjoyable. My technician has completely renewed the electronics returning this radio to a like new performance. His work included adding a mini-jack to allow your connection to any modern device. Now you can enjoy any content from an infinite number of sources. Bluetooth is available for only $25 additional! 18"H x 14"W x 12"D.  $595.00. (0961577)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
