I have been at this for over 40 years, yet I have never seen this radio before! This is a high quality model from the Ann Arbor, Michigan factory. The radio is a stunner, with elaborate veneer braiding on either side of the horseshoe dial and brass tags for brand id and band select. Clearly with all of the detail, this model was an expensive model new. Modestly sized, this is a five-tube and early super-het which plays decently on AM, with short and long wave. With the modest size of the tube count, shortwave will be limited. The radio is in stunning factory original condition with only reproduction speaker cloth which is period correct. My technician has completed his professional repairs and the radio plays as well as when it left the factory. He added a mini-jack for your direct connection of any modern type of device and allowing you an unlimited choice of listening please.
