This is a midsize table radio with a dramatic look. S-C was one of the most technology driven makers and this radio is no exception. The radio's five-tube super-het chassis offers both AM and shortwave reception. The radio has been beautifully refinished with a high luster lacquer finish which highlights the exotic use of imported veneers. I am not sure, but it looks the darker bandings are of rosewood. The speaker cloth and knobs are factory original. My technician has done his professional repair and the radio plays as well as you would wish. The radio has been fitted with a mini-jack to allow your addition of any modern device so you can listen to your phone, pad or computer input.
