Simplex NT-10 Deluxe Tombstone (1937)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Simplex NT-10 Deluxe Tombstone (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a terrific radio. Simplex Radios were made in Sandusky, Ohio. Being a smaller and higher quality factory, they were challenged with limited distribution and the later stages of the Depression. They were bought by Philco Radio. Interestingly, Philco shuttered the factory, satisfied they had removed a meaningful competitor. The radio is a ten-tube super-het that offers both AM and Shortwave playing through an 8-inch speaker. The radio sports a terrific fan shaped multi-colored dial and a brand new green tuning eye that winks with great sensitivity as you tune from station to station. This was a extremely high end unit for the era. The cabinet has been nicely refinished with the accurate reproduction speaker cloth and knobs. My tech has done his highly professional repairs and the radio plays as if it was new. He added a mini-jack, so you can connect any modern electronic device to it, like your phone, pad or computer. Offering any content of your choice is a tremendous benefit and Bluetooth is available for $25 additional. 18-1/4"H x 14-3/8"W x 11"D.
