Philco 38-2670 Tombstone (1938)

Philco 38-2670 Tombstone (1938)
Eleven-tube AM/shortwave antique radio with mini-jack and Bluetooth available! Here is one rare radio from Philco's circa 1938. This set is the largest and most powerful radio ever made by the famed factory. This prestigious radio, the "Baby Grand" cabinet is also one of the largest ever made. The sheer size of the set (21-3/4"H x 16-1/2"W x 16"D) is impressive. As the early 1930s model 116B, this radio is a five-band and eleven-tube model. Philco's engineers married the high tube count of the early 30s model with the far advanced technology of 1938. The performance is breathtaking, with a super sound and the most advanced selectivity. The cabinet and all of the other parts are factory original! This is a remarkable radio and is gigantic in size adding to the dramatic sound characteristics. My technician marveled over the performance of this radio. He has added a mini-jack to allow you to enjoy any content of your choice from any modern device. Add a Bluetooth receiver for only $25!   $1,095.00. (0961531)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
