Here is a modestly priced Zenith "black dial" table radio. The radio is a highly regarded five-tube super-het often called an "All American Five." These are some of the most reliable radios for the more modest tube counts and cabinet size. Playing on both AM and Shortwave through a speaker venting from the top of the cabinet offers a room sized sound from a small package. The cabinet has been refinished with two veneer repairs, on the top and another on the left side. I bought the radio knowing that it would be a sought after model and the work was pretty good. The radio retains the original speaker cloth and the iconic embossed "Z" wood knobs. My technician has completed the professional repairs needed and the set really sings! The set also has a mini-plug to allow your connection to any modern device and enjoy the radio as a remote speaker system. Bluetooth is available for only an additional $25! 14"W x 12"H x 11"D.
