You are looking at a fine and extremely reliable performer. RCA owned most of the most advanced patents in the 1930's, and employed the best technology of the era. This particular model offers both AM and shortwave. The radio is a six-tube super-het offering fine sound and sensitivity. The radio cabinet is in original factory condition showing average wear for its 81-82 year old service. The speaker cloth is a period correct replacement. My tech has done his highly professional repairs and returned the radio to perfect operating condition. He added a mini-jack so you can connect any modern device and play you choice of content along with the factory functions. The radio has a new cord and plug for safe operation.
