Simplex D Tombstone (1936)

Simplex D Tombstone (1936)
Simplex Radio was located in Sandusky, Ohio. Known in the radio world for superior products, they were a smaller factory eventually bought out by Philco Radio. The radio sports an oversized multi colored dial, which is bright lit and highlighted by a bright sensitive green tuning eye. This radio is a six-tube model in an unusual oval shaped cabinet. It plays on both AM and Shortwave. The cabinet, speaker cloth and knobs are all factory original along with finish. The radio has been well cared for eight decades and shows only a modest amount of wear for the years. My tech has done a fine job in his professional repairs and the radio lives up to the fine reputation the company enjoyed. He added a mini-jack for your connection of any modern device like your phone, pad or computer. Add a Bluetooth adapter for only $25! 15-1/4"H x 13-1/4"W x 8"D.  $799.00. (0961512)
All of our radios have preinstalled mini-jacks at no additional charge.  These are installed with no damage to the integrity of the radio or cabinet damage.  These will allow you to input to your old radio from any modern device.  These include phones, pad and computers.  I enjoy listening through my broadband connection.  My favorites are: pandora.com, iheart.com, and internet-radio.com.  The content is prerecorded, live FM, and shortwave and free.

NOW!  Bluetooth adaptors available with a simple add on.  The cost is $25.  Stream audio to your radio from any Bluetooth enabled device.  The range of these units is 25-30 feet.
