You are looking at a monstrous and highly sought Silvertone tombstone. Often called a "gold dial" with an oversized 7-inch dial and a green tuning eye. The cabinet is in nice refinished condition with accurate reproduction speaker cloth and factory installed Tenite knobs. There are subtle signs of wear mostly limited to the right (see photo #3). This is a very nice example considering the 80 years of use. This is a top of the line high grade eight-tube chassis and it is a fantastic player. Made for Sears by Wells Gardner, this model was the best offering of their assortment. My tech has completed his professional repairs and the radio sings like new. The tuning eye winks with great sensitivity as you tune from station to station. The radio has a mini-jack installed to allow the input of any modern device offering an unlimited choice of content.
