| Silver-Marshall was a terrific Chicago based factory and among collectors prized for the tremendous quality they built. This is exactly one of their best with a fantastic brightly lit multi colored dial nearly 7 inches across. The radio has been refinished by the previous owner and the work is very good. There is one small repair to the back top corner which is difficult to see in my photos. The speaker cloth is period correct reproduction and the factory installed knobs. Contained within is a eight-tube super-het chassis which plays on both AM and shortwave. My tech has completed his highly professional repairs and remarked on how powerful the radio is as a player. A mini-jack has been installed to allow your connection of any modern device. Now listen through your radio from your phone, tablet or computer.
