General Electric J-82 Cathedral (1932)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

General Electric J-82 Cathedral (1932)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is the most desired of the General Electric cathedral radios. The radio is a classic, with a design that created the feelings of a Gothic church. The radio is all original, with the factory speaker cloth and floral carved ornate knobs. The condition is very nice and original considering the age of the radio. The radio is a classic with the appearance of a great Gothic European church or cathedral. This model, being the deluxe version, sported a powerful eight-tube chassis with automatic volume control. Les has done his professional repairs and the radio is a tremendous player. This radio is an AM or Broadcast only receiver. The super-het design brings in distant signals like a champ! Les has added a mini-jack for an unlimited source of content. Listen to your phone, pad or computer using the mini-jack. He has finished the radio with a fine reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe use and exactly as it left the factory 85+ years ago. Bluetooth is available for $25 additional. 19-1/4"H x 14"W x 10"D.
