You are looking at a very desired antique radio! The radio company was known for the highest quality radios and scientific equipment and was in business for nearly a century. They were known for some of the highest quality cabinets ever created and this is one choice design. The cabinet is crafted of African mahogany book matched on the sides and top with a front handcrafted out of Birdseye maple; the veneers are stunning and very elaborate. The striping effect makes the streamlined appearance all the more pronounced. The cabinet has been wonderfully refinished by a previous collector. The speaker cloth and knobs are also factory installed. Les has done his professional repairs and has installed a bright green tuning eye that winks with a great level of sensitivity. The radio is a powerful six-tube super-het chassis and plays on both AM and Shortwave. The speaker is an 8-inch full range which makes the radio a super sounding model. The cabinet is large and with a larger sized speaker, the radio has an extremely fine sound.
