Grunow 700 Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Grunow 700 Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a very good radio and in fine factory condition. This vintage radio is in the famed "skyscraper" shape, highlighted by a chrome grille with a wildly Deco shape. The radio is a seven-tube super-het chassis and offers both broadcast and shortwave reception. Impressive with the dramatic matched veneers and metal inset knobs. The radio has a very good original finish, showing a minimal amount of wear for the 85 years of service. The chrome grille is very bright and is 98% free of pitting and clouding. The radio must have lived a good life for the chrome to be so good. The speaker cloth and knobs are factory installed parts. The radio has been professionally serviced and returned to a "like new" operating condition; she really sings for such an early radio. A fine Rayon covered reproduction power cord and plug will offer safe operation. The mini-jack is installed for your direct connection of any modern type of device or add for $25 a Bluetooth receiver. 18"H x 14"W x 10"D.
