Here is a rather large and unusual model from Grunow Radio. The radio has a distinct form factor with a very large and brightly lit 7-inch dial with a clear and very impressive dial scale. The condition of the cabinet, which is original with a touch up of the black lacquer top, is outstanding. I replaced the speaker cloth with an exact reproduction, as these radios which have top mounted speakers tend to see a measure of deterioration after 80 years of use. The radio is a six-tube super-het receiver that plays well on both AM and Shortwave. Les has completed his repairs and everything is as good as when it left the factory. With his professional repairs is a preinstalled mini-jack, which will allow you to connect any modern device and choose your individual choice of content. I love listening to various stations of free material on the websites mentioned on my home page. Bluetooth is available for an additional $25! 14-3/4"W x 13-1/2"H x 11-3/4"D.
