This radio is a very interesting set. The radio shares the same cabinet as the 8-S-129. Originally created as a battery radio, this example has been converted to regular AC operation and it offers a simple "plug and play" for ease of use. The same astute collector has refinished the cabinet and installed accurate replacement speaker cloth. The knobs are the iconic "Z" wood knobs highlighting the large and colorful back dial for which Zenith was famous. Everything operates as perfectly as you could wish. Les has refined the repairs and commented on how fine the work was and the tremendous performance of the radio. Adding a mini-jack to allow you to connect any modern device or a Bluetooth receiver and have the unlimited choice of content. This is a very large and impressive radio, and with the large speaker and cabinet it offers a large room sound. Bluetooth is available for $25! This is a terrific playing radio and offers a tremendous value. Extremely large at 23"H x 17"W x 13"D.
