Howard World Seven Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Howard World Seven Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Howard radios are extremely prized by the most advanced collectors. Based in Chicago, they made terrific radios and in limited numbers. This model is the top of the line model offering both Broadcast and Shortwave on a seven-tube super-het chassis. The radio is a fantastic performer. The radio looks to me to be a older refinish and a terrific job. The speaker cloth and knobs are the factory originals. The highest caliber veneer work shows the craftsmanship Howard built. The novelty of the unusual back lit dial and the band select lighting your selection of dial scale. Les remarked how unusual the radio is while he completed his highly professional repairs. Les added his appreciation for the engineering of the circuitry. He has added a mini-jack to the circuit so you can input your choice of modern device. Using your phone, pad or computer there is an unlimited amount of listening of your choice. Bluetooth is available for $25! 18-3/4"H x 15"W x 9-1/2"D.
