A rare set to be sure, this wildly Deco radio is sure to delight. There were very few Canadian radios made, and these radios were superior in construction to most American made radios. This is a five-tube super-het chassis which offers both Broadcast and Shortwave. The cabinet is in fine original factory finish showing a bit of wear on the top. Note the chevron African mahogany on the front of the set. The speaker cloth and knobs are factory original. The radio offers both macro and micro tuning with a brightly lit multi colored dial. The radio has a massive transformer, which was common in Canadian radio. This will offer you a super quiet operation. Les has completed his highly professional repairs and remarked on the superior performance. Les also added a mini-jack to allow you to input any modern device. With this addition, you can listen to your choice of content from your phone, pad or computer. There is an unlimited amount of content free on the internet.
