You are looking at a highly desired Zenith tombstone. This model is a six-tube super-het that plays on both AM and Shortwave. Along with the massive cabinet, the radio offers dramatic controls to tailor the sound to your tastes along with a large 8" speaker. The multi colored over-size 7-1/2" dial is brightly lit by a pair of lamps. The cabinet has a factory original finish with the base trim refinished. The speaker cloth has an accurate period correct pattern. The iconic wood "Z" knobs are factory originals. Note the fine book matched veneers on the face of the radio, showing dedication of the highest quality. Les has done a stellar professional repair to the set, returning it to a fine and strong player. All function operates perfectly. Les has added a mini-jack to the radio, as with the large speaker and oversized cabinet, the radio is a wonderful one to listen to. You can connect any modern device and enjoy any content of your choice, including your phone, pad or computer. Shipping will be a tad higher due to the massive size of the radio.
