THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
S-W made some of the most dramatic and Deco designed radios of the 1930's. Here is one of their mid-sized models called the "Berkley." This is a five-tube super-het chassis that plays on both AM and Shortwave. You can see the flair of a tapered cabinet and stunning cut out grille. The radio was accurately refinished by a previous owner, to which I added the correct reproduction speaker cloth. As you can see, although not the biggest or most expensive of the collection, the factory gave the radio great attention. Les has done his complete and professional repairs returning the radio to a factory "like new condition." The radio plays very well and with the addition of a mini-jack, this mid-sized set offers you the ability to listen to any modern device. Always a favorite, you will love this radio too. 17-1/2"H x 14-1/2"W x 9"D. |
