RCA 143 Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

RCA 143 Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at the best eight-tube super-het from RCA made in the early 1930s. These radios perform like few others, as RCA owned all of the Armstrong patents and employed the best technology of the era. The example before you is the nicest all original example I have seen. Everything is factory original and in excellent condition. The dramatic book matched veneers are breathtaking and accentuate the fine condition. This particular example is as good as it gets. The radio is both an AM and SW receiver playing in a dramatically oversized cabinet for a full sound. The radio has been completely repaired by my tech, Les, and he remarked how fine a player the radio is. He added a mini-jack to this radio as it will allow you a unlimited amount of content in addition to the aforementioned broadcast bands. Complete with a brand new power cord and plug for your safe use, this will soon be your favorite. This is a very large and heavy radio, so you might want to be sure you have the space. The radio is a showpiece! 18-1/2"H x 18"W x 15"D.
