Stewart-Warner 1262 "Stuart" Tombstone (1933)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Stewart-Warner 1262 "Stuart" Tombstone (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at the largest and most desired of the famed S-W wildly Deco tombstones. This is an early super-het, playing of AM and Shortwave. The radio is a seven tube receiver with AVC. The condition is spectacular, with the finest original finish and factory supplied parts of any example I have ever seen. These are not common sets and are seldom offered for sale. Truly a real beauty, with the finest detail and craftsmanship that this factory offered and they were known for the exotic veneers and edgy styles. A classic for all times, this is as good as you will ever find. My technician has completed his repairs, returning this high quality radio to factory specs. The sound quality from such a fine receiver and over-sized cabinet makes the radio a choice listener. 19"H x 14-1/4"W x 13"D.
