| This is one of the most collectable of all Zenith tombstones. There were three chrome grilled models, this being the most decorative of the three styles. The radio is an AM/Shortwave super-het which plays on eight tubes. The condition of the radio is spectacular with a perfect chrome grille and unique speaker cloth and knobs with chrome inserts. The radio simply screams deco with the wild swirling grille. The black enamel trim is perfect. The radio appears to have been refinished professionally by a previous owner and work is top drawer. A remarkable example, and a seldom seen radio offered for sale. A rare and investment grade model in like condition. My technician has done complete repairs , returning the radio to a perfect player on both bands. 18-1/2"H x 15"W x 9-1/4"D. |
