Stewart-Warner 136-A (1937)
(wood tube table radio w/SW)

Stewart-Warner 136-A (1937)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

You are looking at one of my most favorite Art Deco table radios. Made by the fashion forward Stewart Warner, this model offers an exceptional radio with dramatic Deco looks. The cabinet is made of the finest American Walnut, with the center section, highlighted with Birdseye Maple. This example has been professionally refinished and retains factory speaker cloth and knobs. The cabinet has the Craft-Built metal tag, which was S-W's answer to the dramatic Ingraham Cabinets offered by a number of their competitors. The radio has been completely repaired and plays as new with the addition a fine silk reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug. This is a stunning radio to look at, but also is a tremendous performer. 19"W x 13"H x 12"D.
