You are looking at one of the most desired "Grand Cathedral" radios. The Atwater Kent Company was recognized for the marriage of the most advanced electronics and the finest cabinet constructions. This radio is a fine example of the effort. The finish is pristine and all of the parts, including the speaker cloth, are factory originals. This exceptional seven-tube early super-het incorporates automatic volume control and the highest selectivity that this advanced design allows. The chassis is super clean and the radio is as nice of an example as you will ever find. Note the fancy veneers, Zebrawood imported from Africa, and the barley twist columns on the face of the radio. The radio was completely repaired by my technician; new caps and filters, and aligned. The radio has been fitted with a fine reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe use. 19-1/2"H x 16"W x 10"D. |
