THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a scarcer model. The radio has all of the looks of a classic Gothic church with a highly decorative grille. The radio is a monster with a huge 10-inch speaker powered by a push-pull eight-tube super-het chassis. The condition is outstanding, with an older refinished cabinet. Note the finely crafted factory floral inset knobs and accurate replacement speaker. This radio is a particularly well designed piece of electronics. The reception is particularly good for a radio of this era. RCA, owning all of the Armstrong patents, clearly offered the finest technology of this era. The radio has been expertly repaired by my technician and is a fine playing and sounding radio. The radio has an accurate silk/cotton power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe operation. The radio is very large at 20"H x 14-1/2"W x 11"D. |
