THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a set not listed in any of my books. I sense this is a homemade radio cabinet, but the care and craftsmanship used to make this very unique set was outstanding. The radio cabinet was crafted with great care and more effort than anything from a factory line. The radio is crafted from mahogany, with elaborate hand carved trim. Inside, there is a three-band super-het. The chassis is a six tube Silvertone, and the radio sports a large four inch brightly lit dial with a bronze escutcheon. Note the fancy wood bullet knobs. My technician has done the usual repairs and alignment and has return the set to a perfectly playing radio. He added a fine silk reproduction power cord and plug, so the radio is a safe a sure playing set. 16-1/4"H x 12"W x 8-1/2"D. |
