Atwater Kent 387 Cathedral (1933)
(wood tube cathedral radio)

Atwater Kent 387 Cathedral (1933)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a model that I had never seen before. The radio was made in very small numbers and is very scarce. The "Grand Cathedral" is a deluxe six-tube super-het, and was the finest money could buy. The radio is in terrific condition, with a professionally done refinished mahogany cabinet and correct reproduction speaker cloth. The knobs are factory originals. My technician did a complete repair to the radio, which had survived the decades in remarkable condition. He was very through with his work, aligning the tuner and adding a fine silk reproduction power cord and Bakelite plug for your safe use. I was impressed with the performance. 20"H x 16-3/4"W x 10-3/4"D.
