THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a very nice example of the famed liaison between Emerson Radio and the famed Ingraham Cabinet Works from New York. Collectors prize these extremely well made cabinets, with elaborate use of exotic veneers and high luster lacquer finishes. The radio has a decent refinish with all other factory supplied parts. The restoration included a correct reproduction decal. The radio retains the factory back, which is something seldom seen. There is one small crack to the cabinet, near the dial as seen in my second photo. The radio is a five-tube model that plays both AM and shortwave bands. My tech has given this highly collectible radio the complete repair to return it to the great sounding performance as new. This a very sought radio and it has the metal Ingraham tag on the bottom of the radio, also something you almost never see. 12-1/4"H x 8-1/2"W x 7-1/4"D. |
