THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is a radio I had never seen before. The dial was the first attraction, which is HUGE. Measuring nine inches across, the four color dial with dramatic detailing was special. Then I noted the chrome plated chassis, and I realized the radio was the very top of the line collection produced by Wells-Gardner! The radio had been professionally refinished and sheer size and stunning mahogany cabinet were a smashing combination. The radio is a triple band late super-het, seven tube model. The tuning eye was replaced by my technician, in his complete and precise repairs the eye is especially sensitive and the sound produced by the over-sized 9" speaker is outstanding. I should add that the size of this radio is very large and the combination of over sized speaker with a huge cabinet offers a console like sound. The radio is a stunning example at 22-1/2"W x 15-1/2"H x 11"D.
